Henry's Story
Henry Ford was born on July 30, 1863 in Wayne County which is near Dearborn, Michigan on his family’s farm. At 13 Henry‘s father gave him a pocket watch to which he took apart and reassembled to working order after this neighbors started ask him to repair their time pieces. At 16 Henry left the farm to look for a more modern work to which he apprenticed for a machinist in Detroit to which he learned how to work steam engines.
Henry Ford later married Clara Bryant and had a son to which they moved back to a farm. Henry later was hired at Edison Illuminating Company with his natural skills he was quickly promoted to chief engineer. and made his first model he called the Ford Quadricycle which Edison encouraged him to improve on. To which he later started Ford Motors.Ford Quadricycle
Ford's first model of a car to which Thomas Edison loved it and told him to approve upon.

Ford made the assembly line to help make a affordable car for the public and to help keep his workers at a steady wage.
