New Project Happening At Gayman
This summer, our current main office will be relocated. A classroom located in the primary wing of the school facing the front parking lot will be renovated to become the main office with a secure vestibule limiting access to the building. Visitors will first enter the office area before gaining access to classrooms.
This project is one that is being implemented district-wide to ensure all safety precautions have been taken by our school district. The construction is scheduled to begin shortly after the last student day in June.

Lock Down Drill
The Central Bucks School District is committed to taking proactive steps to protect the safety of all students and staff members. As part of our building safety plan, the school conducted a “lock down” drill this week.
The students were made aware of the drill prior to commencement. When the drill was announced, exterior doors are already locked, hallways are clear of students, and bathrooms are checked. Teachers close and lock classroom doors and cover all windows, window shades are pulled, attendance was taken and all students were accounted for.
I am pleased to report that our simulation went very well. Our teachers reported to me that the children followed directions and were extremely quiet.
The Diary of Anne Frank CB East Play
MARK YOUR CALENDARS: The CB East Patriot Players will proudly present the Pulitzer Prize winning play The Diary of Anne Frank. Directed by Mrs. Sasha Eisenberg, the performances are on May 29 and 30 at 7:30 pm in the CB East Auditorium. This poignant story, dramatized by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, is described by the New York Herald-Tribune as "life in its warmth, its wonder, its spasms of anguish and its wild and flaring humor...Goodrich and Hackett have fashioned a wonderfully sensitive and theatrically craftsman like narrative out of the real-life legacy left us by a spirited and straightforward Jewish girl...as bright and shining as a banner."
Tickets are only $5 and are available at the door on the evening of the performances.

May Boomerang Award
This year, Gayman will continue to accept nominations for the Boomerang Award, which is our way of honoring students who best demonstrate their own developmental assets. What are Developmental Assets? Students possessing a combination of “40 Assets” are typically most successful in school and in life. These assets have the power to influence choices young people make and help them become caring, responsible adults. For a complete listing of the 40 Developmental Assets and the Nomination form please click on the link below:
