A plaintiff is a person who brings a case against another court of law.

When in court, they're a defendants and prosecution. The defendant in a civil case is usually the person suing someone, or the person asking for a divorce for example.

They're are many different ways to go to court. One way is to be summoned to court by judge. You can get a summons by violating traffic laws, etc. You can also go to court by committing a misdemeanor or a felony. During these cases there are verdicts reached by the judge to determine weather somebody is guilty or innocent. The judges get their verdict based off of evidence presented by the defense. The worst kind of crime is a meditated crime. A meditated crime is when someone plan the crime ahead of time before committing it.
