3. Edcamp SandMountain is a collaborative professional learning opportunity between Boaz City, Arab City, and Marshall County Schools. The "unconference" takes place on June 21 at Marshall County Tech School. This event is designed to have the participants plan the sessions. It is definitely not "sit and get" PD. If you have never been to an Edcamp, you are missing a treat! Registration is at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/edcampsandmtn-2018-tickets-45347233797?ref=estw.
Save All Your Files in Google Drive
As we transition our servers, we are no longer going to have access to the shared "Q" drive after the end of school, May 25, 2018. Please back up all your files into Google Drive or another location prior to this date. We will not be able to retrieve any of your files after the end of school.
You have unlimited storage in Google Drive. If they are shared files with cowokers, you will want to save them in Team Drive. The podcast below will give you step by step directions of how to save your files.
Thank you so much for understanding!
Technology Staff Updates
Alex's role will be to make sure that our network, servers, and switches are operational. He has a lot of work to do, but we are excited that he is with us! If you have any questions for Alex, please email him at amclemore@boazk12.org. If there is an emergency with your internet access, please report that to your principal, and he/she will report that to Alex or me.
Sadly, Brett Maltbie, our contract computer repairs, is leaving for college at the end of May. However, we will be welcoming Steven Ross as his replacement. We look forward to having Steven help us part-time through the summer.
Thank you all for your patience and support as Barry has been on medical leave. We pray that he heals quickly and is able to join us again soon.
