Dear valued families and community members,
I hope this message finds you well and ready for the exciting year ahead. As we kick off the new school year, I wanted to provide you with a brief update on our current situation and important information for reaching out to our school staff.
We are thrilled to see our school bustling with energy as students return for another year of learning and growth. The second round of enrollment is underway and will continue until August 31st. This means that we still have many students joining and transitioning in and out of our school community. We extend a warm welcome to all new students and their families and assure you that our dedicated educators and staff are here to ensure a smooth transition and a positive learning experience for every student.
For any inquiries, assistance, or communication needs, please note the following guidelines. Our office staff, counseling team, and other staff members are available to assist you from Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM. We understand the importance of timely communication, and our commitment is to respond to your queries within 48 business hours. Please bear with us as we work diligently to provide you with the information and support you require.
As we embark on this new academic journey together, we want to express our gratitude for your continued support and collaboration. Our school community thrives when we all contribute our strengths and dedication to the education and well-being of our students. Let's make this year one of inspiration, achievement, and meaningful connections.

PICTURE DAY IS ON SEPTEMBER 6TH FROM 9:00 AM UNTIL 2:00 PM.
This year you will come into the building for pictures, but the ordering will take place after. After picture day you will log in to mylifetouch.com with your student’s ID to view the pictures and order from there. Packages will then be mailed to your home address.
The First Annual Summit Jeffco
We encourage you to attend this event that promises to empower and equip you with valuable insights to support your student's educational journey. Join us at the first-ever Summit Jeffco event, hosted by Jeffco Public Schools, on Saturday, September 23, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Green Mountain High School.
Summit Jeffco is a unique gathering where families can connect with district and school staff, as well as experts in various fields, to explore important topics that impact our students. Discover how you can play an active role in improving your student's educational experience and foster their growth.

Opportunity for Families: Federal Communication Commission’s Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP).
The ACP provides eligible households:
- Up to $30/month off their internet bills (or $75/month on qualifying Tribal lands), and
- A one-time discount of up to $100 off a connected device (laptop, tablet, or desktop computer) as long as the household contributes more than $10 and less than $50 towards the cost of the device.

Please visit our fee payment portal to pay your fees.
If you feel that your family may qualify for Free and Reduced status please make sure that you have submitted the FEDs form.
NEW INFORMATION!
Technology fee-
For the 2023-2024 School Year
$50 1st - 12th Technology Use Fee - This fee covers: the device and protective case and a subscription to the district's core digital learning tools. - Various fees existed across the district prior to this district-wide program. The new $50 technology use fee for students who receive district 1:1 devices will standardize those fees.
$25 Kindergarten Technology Use Fee - This fee covers the costs associated with the core set of digital learning tools and technology-related expenses at schools. - District technology fees existed across the district prior to this district-wide program. These ranged from $10-$20.
- This new fee replaces those previous fees and standardizes the fee structure while providing the items noted in the first bullet point of this question.
