β οΈ Mid-Year (7th Semester) transcripts to Colleges
If you applied to colleges not using Common App...
You must order your official Mid-Year Transcript using Parchment. It is easy to do!
If you need assistance requesting your transcript via Parchment, here is a quick tutorial to watch.
When you order your transcript, you will be asked if you want to: βSend Nowβ or βHold for Grades.β Please click βHold for Grades.β Transcripts will be processed and finalized after January 25th. They are usually complete and ready to send by February 1st.

You do not to do anything! Counselors will upload and send your Mid-Year Report (with transcripts) to all schools listed in your Common App.

Four-year college isnβt for everyone, and a bachelorβs degree doesnβt guarantee a job or the necessary skills. The MAT2 Apprenticeship Program provides students a three-year career pathway to success as they alternate between classroom training and on the job (paid) work experience)!

College Prep Scholars Program is for academically outstanding high school juniors from families earning less than $65,000/year for a family of four. Learn more!
Awards for College Prep Scholars may include:

The QuestBridge National College Match can be your pathway to a top college. Through this college and scholarship application process, you can apply for free to the nationβs best colleges and be considered for early admission and a full four-year scholarship.
Attend a top college for free! - The Match Scholarship
Match Scholarship Recipients are granted early admission to one of QuestBridge's college partners with a full four-year scholarship, worth over $200,000. Our college partners use a combination of their own funds as well as state and federal aid to fund the scholarship. Please view each college partner's Financial Aid section for further details and see a glossary of financial aid terms.
The Match Scholarship is offered as part of a generous financial aid package provided by the college that covers the cost of attendance, including:
- Tuition and fees
- Room and board
- Books and supplies
- Travel expenses
- Have NO parental contribution
- Have NO student loans
- May contain a student contribution in the form of Federal work-study, summer work, or student savings
Admission through the National College Match
Last year, over 1,600 Finalists were matched (admitted early with a Match Scholarship). Finalists who do not match can apply through QuestBridge Regular Decision to be considered for admission and generous financial aid. Approximately 2,000 Finalists were admitted through QuestBridge Regular Decision last year.

π Dunning Automotive Design Precollege Summer Scholarship @ CCS

Through the Dunning Fellows and Scholars Competition, CCS offers 15 students the opportunity to attend our three-week automotive design summer program. Students get an up-close, hands-on view of the automotive design industry while being taught and tutored by designers from GM, Ford and Stellantis.
π Fashion Design Precollege Summer Scholarship @ CCS
Due March 1st
CCS is excited to offer 10 high school students an opportunity to attend the Collegeβs Precollege Fashion Design Summer Program at no cost. The three-week camp earns each student three college credits. All students applying for the contest will have their work reviewed by industry professionals, but only 10 will be offered a scholarship that will cover the cost of attending the program, travel to the camp, housing, food and materials.

Grades, test scores, and impressive activities alone won't get a student admitted to schools that reject almost all their applicants. While we don't believe that prestigious colleges are necessarily better colleges, we want students who are interested in these schools to have straight answers about what it will really take to have a shot at getting admitted.
π Tutors Across America ACT+SAT Weekend Bootcamps
Tutors Across America will be offering several discounted Online ACT & SAT Weekend Boot Camps over the Spring semester. These boot camps will be particularly important for Juniors and Seniors - but all grades are welcome to participate.The boot camps are averaging 3-7 point improvements on the ACT, and 150-200 point improvements on the SAT, which represents a 20-40 percentile point increase in just one weekend.

Feb. 8th at 7:00 PM (9th + 10th graders + families only)
Three different Early College programs are available to students in Oakland County who are interested in earning an associate degree at Oakland Community College along with their high school diploma.
- Oakland Early College
- Accelerated College Experience (ACE)
- Oakland Technical Early College (OTEC)
All three will present information on the benefits, structure, admissions process and requirements of each program. After a brief presentation on each option, representatives will be available in breakout sessions to answer questions. Students in early college programs often go on to complete a bachelor's degree.
