Wolf Pup Weekly
Woodriver Issue #27 2/25/22
FROM PRINCIPAL GUY
Hello Wolf Pup parents!
Our district is working on finalizing information regarding the upcoming boundary
changes for next year. Woodriver was not scheduled to have any changes to our
boundaries in the draft that was presented to our school board. However, as a
reminder we are shifting all of our present 5th graders into middle school next year.
Mrs. Brashear and I will soon be working to schedule visit times with Middle school
counselors to come and meet with our students to discuss what life in middle school
is like and to share information about what cool classes and activities are available
at each school. We will help Randy Smith and Ryan Middle school connect with
parents to share what their plan is for incorporating our current 5th graders into their school. I
know they are excited to have two grade levels of students join them next year.
Thank you to everyone who was able to come to parent teacher conferences. Our
partnership with you makes all the difference in your child’s education. Monday is
the final day that students can visit our Book Fair. It officially closes at 1 pm after
students have the opportunity to visit during their recess time. I would like to thank
Mrs. Kitchin for putting in a lot of extra work to make our Book Fair happen.
