Something New
Hello Everyone! We are trying something new for our newsletters! At our last staff meeting this little gem of a website was suggested to us to use for our class newsletters. Please look around and let us know if you prefer the website or the paper version of the newsletters.
We Are Making Gingerbread Cookies!
It was hard work to make the dough the correct size for the gingerbread cookie cutter. After our cookies cooled we were allowed to put as much icing and as many different toppings we wanted on our cookie!
Christmas Program
We had a great time at our Christmas program! Our favorite part was dancing to "Don't Tango with an Eskimo"!
Working Together
We are learning how to work together to build various things with our large blocks. This time it was Santa's Workshop!
We have a new friend!
We have a new friend in class! His name is Elfie. We are sure you have heard about him at home. He is in class with us everyday to help keep an eye on our behavior. He goes back to the North Pole every night to talk to the "Big Guy" in charge! Elfie is kind of a trickster. One day we came into class and he wrapped our tree in toilet paper, he has decorated our room with snowflakes (he wanted it to look like the North Pole) and he even went for a boat ride in our sink! We made a new mailbox just for Elfie's mail from the class. So Elfie has also been drawing us pictures and writing us letters too! Keep an eye out for more tricks and treats from this little guy!
We Are Having A Party!
Event Information
Polar Express Movie Party
On December 21st, we will celebrate winter break with a Polar Express movie party! To make the day more relaxed we would like for everyone to wear their favorite pajamas. We will have our gift exchange, a hot chocolate bar, popcorn, and we will play games galore! Let us know if you have any questions about the party!
