Medication Pick-Up!
If your child has any medication in the FFMS Clinic (prescription and/or over-the-counter), it will need to be picked up by noon on Friday, May 24th. Medication may not be given to your child to take home but must be picked up and signed out by a parent/guardian. Any medication not picked up by May 24th is required to be disposed of by our School Resource Officer. Thank you for your assistance.

8th Grade News!
PLEASE NOTE: Any parents making changes to rising 9th grade schedules need to return Course Verification sheets to Brookwood High School by May 31st. No course changes will be made after this date.
On Wednesday, May 8th, your child received his/her Carnegie Unit Form in Homeroom. Please review this form with your child as soon as possible. All forms MUST be returned to your child's Homeroom teacher by Friday, May 24th. Forms WILL NOT be accepted after that date. Brookwood High School has now posted the Carnegie Unit information on their website under the Academics tab. Here's a direct link to it. The following courses are eligible for Carnegie Units: Algebra I, Accelerated Algebra I, Accelerated Geometry, High School Physical Science, Biology, Spanish I, Foundations of Engineering.
In addition, on Friday, May 17th, your child received their summer assignment document for 9th grade courses. Please review the task with your child as all students, regardless of level, will have a Language Arts summer reading and assignment. Students who are signed up to take AP Human Geography or Gifted Biology will also have a required assignment for those courses. Parents and students may refer to Brookwood's website under the Academics tab to check out the summer assignments.

2) Clothing - If you have clothing/textile items that may not be suitable for our clinic (see article below), we have a clothing recycling bin in our side parking lot.
3) Dried Up Markers - Did you know that markers are recyclable? We collect any size, any brand of dried-out/used markers. The Crayola Company has a wonderful recycling program and will even pay for shipping to their recycling facility.
