We would like to give a special shout-out to our sister #88 Bailey "Courvoisier" Yu for encouraging sisters to go to the events and running around campus to scout around for Sigma Chi brothers for the Photo-Sig event.

Volunteering at Break the Silence
This year marked the second Break the Silence Conference at the College! The conference, which focused on addressing issues of mental health in the Asian-American community, was organized by Taiwanese American Student Association, PanAsia, Active Minds, and South Asian Students Association. Thank you to our sisters for volunteering to register people, give directions, and spread mental health awareness in the community!

BTSR Sisterhood Event
For our BTSR Sisterhood Event, we met up at sister #73 Vanessa "Ambrosia" Cai's apartment, ate some delicious pizza, and played some games to get to know each other better! Thanks to all of the sisters who showed up, and made it a fun night! Also, special shout-out to Sisterhood Chair #66 Jessica "mimosa" Cheng for planning this event!

Cultural Awareness Movie Screening
To promote Asian-American awareness on campus, we hosted a screening of the documentary "Uploaded: The Asian-American Movement," which discusses the rise of Asian-Americans in popular media. This documentary showed us the obstacles that Asian-Americans had to go through in order to be a recognized group in media. After this viewing, we were able to gain a better understanding of hardships in the entertainment industry for Asians, and therefore, a greater appreciation for Asian-American representation. Thank you to our Graphics Chair #89 Celine "Matcha" Kim for creating this beautiful flyer!

Inter-RSO Potluck
This month, sisters also participated in the annual Inter-RSO Potluck held by Taiwanese American Student Association (TASA)! Other Asian-interest RSO's such as Korean Student Organization (KSO), Asian Students' Union (ASU), and Chinese Undergraduate Student Association (CUSA) were present! Delicious dishes such as Dandan noodles and braised pork were enjoyed, and games were played in order for the members of each organization to get to know each other better.

UIC Reveal
Thank you to the UIC Associate Chapter for inviting us to their Alpha Kappa KingPiNs new member class reveal! Our sisters had such an amazing time watching UIC's new member class, and could see that all of their hard work had paid off. Watching their reveal definitely gave us some inspiration for our next new member class!

Thai Night
What better excuse to feast on some delicious Thai food and bond with sisters than attending Thai Night! This event was hosted by the Thai Student Association, of which our VPI #77 Sarah "stArkISs'd" Tinaphong is the President. Thanks Sarah and the rest of ThaiSA for hosting such a fun event!
