Senior Pictures and Quotes
Senior pictures and quotes are due by November 2nd. Please make sure to send your seniors pictures and quotes to columbia.yearbook@myeagles.org. Students may also drop their quotes and pictures off in the office. Please make sure that you keep your picture and quote together in an envelope with your name on it.
Congratulations to the Columbia Central Marching Band!
They also earned first place at the Alma College Marching Invitational with a score of 77 and awards in Best Marching, Music, and Guard! In addition they earned first place at the Lapeer Invitational.
The band will finish up their marching season with the MSBOA District 8 Marching Band Festival at Northwest High School next Saturday where they will have their final performance of their 2018 Show Light vs. Dark which features the music of Kanye West, Coldplay, Fallout Boy, and Avicii, interwoven with a poem written by Sophomore Drum Major Grace Willoughby. The band performs at 5:15 PM.

Columbia Central Athletics
Football is currently in first place in our LCAA Conference. They have a big game Friday night at Hudson. Please come out to cheer the Golden Eagles to a victory. There will be a Playoff Show gathering for the players and their parents from 6:30-8 PM in the CCHS Cafeteria.

Boys Soccer
The team earned the ISL Conference Title with a win over Lenawee Christian last week! They now begin to district play tonight at Quincy. Good luck Boys Soccer!

Girls Golf-After winning another IGL Conference Title, the Girls Golf team qualified for the MHSAA Girls Golf State Finals in D4!! We are so proud of your accomplishments!

Volleyball-Over the weekend, Volleyball competed and played well at the Western High School Invitational. Our school will host district play this Thursday if the team wins today. Go Eagles!
Cross Country-The Cross Country team continues to improve with several athletes earning their personal record times. This past weekend, they ran in the J. Chris Jensen Memorial Run at Ella Sharp Park. The team will compete in the LCAA Conference race this Saturday at Hidden Lake Gardens! We wish them the best!
Tennis-The Boys Tennis team competed in several matches over the season! The team worked hard this year while continuing give their best!

Junior High NEWS!
We are excited to be holding an induction ceremony for NJHS, Wednesday, October 24th at 7:00 pm in the Columbia Performing Arts Center.
Our first dance of the year is Friday, October 26th from 6:30-8:30 PM. More information will be coming home soon!
