Good morning Blue Jay families!
LMS wants to thank all of the Veterans in our Blue Jay community for their service. A special thank you to Mr. Steve VanEgdom, our PE/SS teacher, for his service. Our country and community is strong because of all of you! Our LPS Salute to Veterans Breakfast is tomorrow, November 11th. This will take place at Discovery Middle School. Meet the Staff
Mireille "Mimi" Jones
Mrs. Jones is the French teacher at Liberty Middle School. She is originally from Belguim and only was supposed to come to the states for one year when she came 28 years ago. She has a BS from ISPL Ste Croix- St Barthélémy, Liège, Belgium and a MA from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. She has been teaching for 27 years and at LMS for 10 of those years. She started teaching because, " "Working with students guarantees that each day is different; each year is different. Students bring such a variety of personalities, needs, and challenges to the classroom every day. That guarantees to keep me on my toes, alert, and learning every day. My learning journey continues, when I am with them. ' Mrs. Jones enjoys going to Sporting KC, going to concert, listening to Audio Books.
