Team of Queens
Don't you just love fall
Happy Thanksgiving - Let's get going!!!
Hi fabulous ladies!!
I hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend! While this is a holiday weekend, I like to take this time to get my business organized. Map out my TS schedule, reach out to team mates, brainstorm future hostesses and stylists, and organize my collection (that stuff can get messy). So while you are sitting back relaxing this weekend, take the time to brainstorm where you want your business to be in 6 weeks.
I'll go first! I want to have earned level 1 of the Fall challenge and be close to level 2, have 10 more shows on the books than I do today & launch one more new stylist. To make this happen I just need to break it down week by week and get started. Here is a little challenge I've given myself to help me get started - I'd love for you to take part.
In addition to my regular prospecting, I am calling 5-10 past customers a week for customer care/potential sales/booking.
Step 1) call to make sure they are still loving their gems (last week was all customers that bought the radiance coil).
Step 2) let her know about the new collection and an item I think she would LOVE (fine line necklace & earrings, and the Adelaide hoops as they are complimentary to the items she already own).
Step 3) let her know I am booking for the holiday's and that I would love to have her as a Holiday Hostess.
Depending on their engagement in the conversation I may not go in for the booking question. However, no matter where the conversation goes, I know I am offering great customer care and growing my sales and potential booking.
WELCOME
I am soooo excited to Welcome Krista Morrison, from Burlington ON and Savannah Webber, from Cole Harbour, NS to our team. You ladies are in for a fun ride this fall!
AND THE WINNER IS.....
PAM DENIS!!! Pam, you are the lucky winner of a scarf, tech wallet (or other item of similar value that you've had your heart set on). We had a challenge to book new shows and our team did incredible! I am in awe of everyone. I can't wait to see what the rest of this month has in store for everyone.
Hostess Coaching
Now that we have all these shows on the books, I want to share my experience with hostess coaching, or lack there of - yikes! After a few low attendance shows, I took a look at my hostess coaching and realized it was in drastic need of improvement. My hostesses simply were not inviting enough people and I was letting it happen. Rather than get discouraged, I set aside 1.5 hours to review SDU and chat with three other stylists I knew were more skillful than I in this department. Let me tell you, WHAT A DIFFERENCE. So much so, I wanted to share what I am doing in hopes it can help you too.
1) When the show is booked I tell the hostess to be on the look out for a confirmation email with a link to their show AND a Save the Date email from me.
2) Save the Date email - this is incredibly important and has made a HUGE difference in my show invites. I make a point on the phone to say to CC me on the Save the Date so that I can use the emails to create the electronic invite. I even go as far as to say that the invite I send is like sending someone the menu at a restaurant we're going to. If they like what they see on the menu, they are far more likely to attend! Here is an example:
Dear Bridget,
I have a little hostess kit to drop off to you. Do you have a mail box? I'm so excited to be hosting a show with you. To get the word out I would LOVE to do some cute electronic invites for you. If you are a Facebook person, I can also create an event. This way we reach all your ladies in their preferred method.
Below is a simple Save the Date email that you can cut & paste and email to your guests. Feel free to tweak it however you like. **Please cc me on the email so I can add the email addresses to the Electronic Invite. Once the Save the Date goes out, I'll get started on the Invite. I like to send the invite about 3 weeks before the show.
Let me know if you have any questions!!! We are going to have a blast!
Amanda

Electronic Invite to Follow
3) As soon as I get the Save The Date email, I get the S&D invite out. Depending on how many people she sent it to, I give her a call and start asking about who we're inviting and start to brainstorm who else we could send it to. I was SHOCKED to see that the initial email was typically being sent to 8-10 people - this tells me exactly why my last 3 shows had low attendance and sales. The second round she would send had at least 10-15 more people. Its incredible that with little effort I have been able to nearly triple my invite list AND double my attendance. Plus, the change of outside orders more than doubles as shopping from the invite is very easy.
4) 1 call to hostess and one teaser email (I might send a Polyvore with some of her favs or a link to a piece I want to put her in that night).
5) Redstamp text reminder the day before the show.
If you are finding your attendance to be low, give this a try or set up a call with me and we will brainstorm how to increase your attendance.
