PBIS Lessons
Required Trainings
Everyone is required to complete Food Allergy and Child Abuse Prevention trainings each year. The deadline for completion is Sept. 28th.
The food allergies training may be found at : http://allergyready.com/ (An active link is located at the bottom of this newsletter.
If you do not already have an account, register for the online course. Click on "Care Course" then launch the module. Complete the quiz and print your certificate to give to our campus nurse, Anisa Nunez. Keep a copy for your records.
Child Abuse
Annual Child abuse employee training that is aligned with requirements in TEC, § 38.0041.
•Sexual Abuse Prevention Training: Darkness to Light (D2L). This is a 2-hour training with TEA approved hours (2 hours credit), found at https://www.d2l.org/get-trained/
OR
•Recognition of Maltreatment of Children and Child Abuse Reporting Training: Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) provides online training and printed certificates. No credit hours given:
