Quick Update About Exams
Please note the question 18 from question and answers section and 22 from fill in the blanks section (about Cain and Abel has been removed and will not be asked). There was an error in the answer in the textbook and this was blindly copied onto the review sheet. Apologizing for the error.
If a student is unable to attend the exam, the parents should inform the teachers so that the students can give the exam the following week (Jan 17, 2016)
December and January Birthdays
Our prayers and well wishes with all our little ones! May God continue to bless and guide them in his path.
We are missing a few birth dates from our documents. Few of you might receive an email requesting for the same. Thanks for sending us the dates.
Class Room Updates
We have been reviewing with the kids in the class room for the past two weeks. We also managed to finish a lesson in class today as the kids got tired of the review :-) We heard the story of Elijah. Here are few related questions.
Who did Elijah warn about the drought?
Elijah warned king Ahab about the drought.
God sent ravens with food everyday to feed Elijah in the Kerith valley and he drank from the Cherith brook.
Elijah asked the widow to make him a loaf of bread.
What did you learn from Elijah's story?
We learned that God will take care of us wherever we are and that he will be with us even when we are going through tough times.
Memory Verse (Philippians 4:19)
"My God will fully satisfy every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"

Family Activity Guide
This month's activity guide revolves around self control - choosing to do what you should do and not what you want to do.
Thank You Book or Gratitude Book
This concept is taken from the Hawn foundation started by Goldie Hawn. This is basically to remind children as they grow older about all the blessings they have in their life. America as a country is seeing children who start to get very stressed out and depressed as they grow older and these little things like the gratitude book remind them of the blessings they have in their life. So please encourage them to participate actively.
