Student schedules second semester
Student schedules for second semester should be accessible through PowerSchool. Please have your child check his/her schedule and if an error is noted, we would like to know so that we can correct it prior to the December break.
Students who note a schedule error should complete a Schedule Change Request:
https://forms.gle/HY1kNZHzDCrBDZur6
This form opens at 7am on Monday, 12/2, and will close at 4pm on Thursday, 12/5.
State-mandated testing has begun
We have begun administering state-mandated assessments. As a reminder, we are not permitted to interrupt testing sessions once they begin. If your child has an appointment scheduled during one of these mandated assessments, please consider rescheduling it. Additionally, we will not be able to call into classes once testing begins. Sometimes parents come to the school to check-out their child for an appointment and ask us to call into the classroom - we will not be able to do this beginning next week. Please help us best support you and your child by sending a note with your child stating his/her need to be released from class and we will gladly accommodate you (and hopefully minimize your wait).
The Monday we return from Thanksgiving break, our End of Course (EOCs) assessments are scheduled to begin. This is the schedule for these tests:
EOC Schedule
Monday-Wednesday, Dec 2 - Dec 4: American Lit
Thursday and Friday, Dec 5-6: Geometry
Monday and Tuesday, Dec 9-10: Social Studies (U.S. History ad Economics)
Wednesday and Thursday, Dec 11-12: Science (Biology and Physical Science)
Friday, Dec 13 and Monday-Wednesday, Dec 16-18: Make-ups

Is your child looking for a job?
Our RHHS Work-Based Learning Program is currently looking for students who are interested in job opportunities!
Participation requirements recently changed, increasing the number of students who are eligible. In order to meet eligibility requirements, students must be at least 16-years-old, listed as a junior or senior, and have passed one CTAE course or at least be registered for a CTAE class, preferably in the career pathway for the position they are seeking. Interested students should see Mrs. Jennifer Sack in Room 602-she can give more information and answer any questions.

Please contact your child’s grade level administrator if you have questions about exam exemptions.
Student Parking, spring semester
Administrators have reviewed the attendance and tardy records for students who were required to sign a parking contract in order to receive a parking decal for the 19-20 school year. Students who are in jeopardy of losing their parking decal for 2nd semester of this school year received a warning letter and conferenced with an administrator when they reached 5 tardies to school. Students who have since broken the contract will be notified prior to the end of first semester about the status of their parking privileges. Please contact Mrs. Tanner if you have questions about student parking.

Beta Club partners with Make-A-Wish
This year, Richmond Hill High School Beta Club has decided to devote their time to one single service project – adopting a single wish through Make-A-Wish Georgia, granting a wish to one local child with a life-threatening illness.
