Tilghman Tiger Talk
Principal's Update 2021
LAST Week June 14th-17th
Hello Tilghman Elementary Families,
It's hard to believe we are headed into our final week of the 2020-2021 school year! The last day of school for TCPS students is Thursday, June 17th, which is also an early dismissal day (12:00p.m.).
All students will need to turn in their TCPS issued iPad and charger to their teacher while at school. iPad collection will be as follows:
- Virtual Pre-K: the week of June 14th
- In-person K-5: All in-person iPads and chargers will be collected by their teachers the week of June 14th. If a TCPS technician or service contractor deems that damage caused to equipment was the result of neglect or malicious intent, parents will be notified and may be responsible for the cost of repair.
- K-5 Virtual students will need to drop off their iPads and chargers to the front office either on 6/17 or 6/18.
If your family has a TCPS hotspot, please return it to the TES office as soon as possible and no later than Thursday, June 17th.
Please make sure that you have returned all TES materials such as Wonders-Reading anthologies and library books.
Spirit Days:
Monday, June14th: MVP Day (Wear jerseys and athletic gear)
Tuesday, June 15th: Disney Day (Dress as your favorite Disney character)
Friendly Reminder: Currently all students (and staff) must wear masks that fit securely over the nose. This is part of our school safety protocol and is required. Thank you for your help with this.
Thank you for your continued support of TES. We know this year has been difficult but we made it by supporting each other and working hard to make the best choices for our students and school community!!! #smallbutmighty.
