OLVCS Updates
January 6, 2022
Dear Families and Friends of Our Lady of Victory Catholic School,
Many thanks to you for your gifts, cards, thoughtfulness, and prayers for the faculty and staff of our school. On behalf of everyone at OLVCS, we hope that you had a wonderful Christmas and will have a wonderful year ahead.
We have had a great week back in this new year, wrapping up the Christmas Season and getting ready for the cold winter months. Though cold and flu season has been with us for a while at this point, I just want to ask that you continue to make those common-sense judgements about whether your child is actively sick and contagious and keep them home if they are.
Our school Nurse, Mrs. Olivia Whitehill, has been doing an exceptional job in making sure our students are well-taken-care-of when they become ill at school, and I thank our parents for communicating medical concerns with her to assist in that care. Also, because we do try to get outside for recess when we can, please double check that those hats and gloves are packed.
Happy Epiphany weekend and I hope you enjoy the rest of the Christmas Season!
With sincere appreciation,
Jim Hoy

On Tuesday the ASAP Crusader Crew held its first meeting. The boys and girls practiced dribbling, reviewed basic rules and parts of the basketball game and colored a Minion basketball coloring page. On Wednesday, they cheered at the boys games – complete with special chants and pom-poms. Any child who is signed up for ASAP can join in the ASAP Crusader Crew.
