Energy Analysis

The catapult would start with potential energy, then when the trigger lets go of the cup it will be mechanical because the cup is moving, but the ball is still in the cup. When the ball is actualy in the air, it woud be kinetic because the ball is moving.

Summary Description

In this project, the greatest problem was time, because we assure that our catapult would have exceeded the expectatives if with more time. A basic change would be our basic shape, because we never thought of a triangular base. Another change would be our basic launcher, because it didn't had the best composition for it to hold weight. We would change a lot of the catapult in itself, because we thought very few sometimes when we were making it. It would be almost totally different. We have learned a very important lesson when doing this type of things. There wil be always room for improvement. In transformations of energy, it is obvious that we had mechanical, because the energy called force was conducted to a synergic or coherent group of pieces, which moved the force together towards a direction, or in fewer words, it worked trough a set of individual forces. It was mechanical in general, but that is due to the kinetic energy converting itself in potential. There were obviously more transformations of energy involved in here, but they were not very significant in this case.
