Long Range Planning Meeting
Royal Oak Schools is embarking upon a long-range planning process. The goal for this year is to create and share a strategic plan for the operations and growth of the school district. That strategic plan will align long-term and short-term goals with action plans and strategies. It is important that our plan reflect the needs of our community.
For those who are attending our committee meetings, Part II of our kick-off will be held in person next week, Thursday, October 27, from 6:00-8:00 PM at the District Administrative Offices, 800 DeVillen, Royal Oak. (note earlier start time of 6:00 PM)
The agenda will include assessments and updates from our major facility partners: building envelope (brick and mortar upkeep), roofing, pavement, mechanical systems, electrical systems, and architecture (flooring, doors, windows, ceilings, and kitchens). The district team and our Superintendent will also present the current progress of our safety efforts and the state of student transportation. We will also share a glossary of frequently used terms.
Please consider attending our next meeting to learn more about this process and to add your feedback.
