FAFSA - October 1
Financial Aid Bootcamp
For all seniors and their families. Financial Aid Bootcamp is coming to OHS! Complete your FAFSA! Participants will complete an actual FAFSA application for financial aid on site at OHS. WCTC Financial Aid Office Representatives will be on-hand to answer questions and assist participants with the completion of their FAFSA for the upcoming college/university academic year. Event pre-registration is required. Limited space available. Please email Susan Verhagen, school counselor, verhags@oasd.org, if you are interested in attending.

Sophomore Individual Conferences
- Course Planning: graduation requirements, upcoming course requests and scheduling
- Test Scores: MAP, ACT Aspire, upcoming testing timeline
- Career Exploration: Career Cruising Data (Matchmaker results), plans of study
- Enrichment Opportunities: job shadows, youth apprenticeships
Conferences will begin October 30th. Specific times and dates for scheduled conferences will be communicated through message center in the coming weeks.
Schools2Skills Tour - 10/24
If you are interested in a career in engineering, robotics, graphics, or manufacturing, sign up for the Schools 2 Skills Bus Tour. It is free and includes lunch. We are scheduled to go on Tuesday, October 24th from 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Students will tour 3 local businesses and WCTC. If you are interested in this free opportunity, please see Mrs. Verhagen in Student Services to get a permission slip. Space is limited. First 50 students that sign up will be able to attend.
