Elmonica Families,

This week teachers and staff have been working hard learning better ways to deliver instruction to meet the needs of our learners in a distance learning environment. Yesterday you should have received an email from your child's new teacher. Today teachers are producing Back To School Night videos for parents and families to view next week. Each video will be followed by a live question and answer session in the late afternoon or early evening. Please refer to the schedule below for the dates and times for your child or children.

School Supplies Success Kits

With the school year approaching fast and knowing you share our eagerness to get back to learning and a ‘normal’ routine, we wanted to make sure you all had the supplies needed at home to tackle remote learning. Elmonica and the Beaverton School District understand the importance of having the necessary school supplies available at home, and realize that this could cause additional stress obtaining them. We have 190 supply bags available to families in need of supplies. The list of supplies within the bag can be found below to help you decide if you are in need of a bag or not. We have a supply pick up window on Thursday, September 10th, 2020 from 2PM-4PM @ Elmonica Elementary. Additional details will follow.

Items Included in Supply Kits:

  • Earbuds

  • Pencils and pens

  • Spiral notebooks or composition books

  • Colored Markers

  • Glue stick

  • Small dry-erase board with dry-erase marker

We know that this is not a comprehensive list, and that teachers may be asking you to have more items on hand, but this should allow your child instant access to their comprehensive distant learning education.

If you need a kit and would like us to reserve one for you, please click on the link below and complete the form. Make sure to mark your calendars for Thursday, September 10th, from 2PM-4PM to pick up your child(ren’s) kit. See you then!

Verification of Enrollment (Repeat)

The parent/guardian of every new and returning student received a request for enrollment verification. This email produces a lot of confusion. If you receive the email, your child is currently enrolled. Verification is the process to review the information and update the information for accuracy. Please do not create a new student registration.

Please click on the second line down that reads "2020-2021 Fall Verification and Family Updates".
