LAST DAY OF SCHOOL INFORMATION-- Friday, June 5th:
We will have an 11:00 AM dismissal. (Buses will leave Shalom at 11:00 or shortly thereafter.)
Students may wear field day clothing.
There will be no after school childcare available the last day of school.
The school offices will close at 1:00 PM on June 5th.
SUMMER OFFICE HOURS
Summer office hours are 9-3, Monday through Friday. The offices will be closed July 3rd.
Lost and found items will be on tables in the music practice room until June 15th. Please be sure to stop by and look for items your child may be missing.

SUMMER ENRICHMENT CAMP
There is still time to sign up for Enrichment Camp. Students in rising grades 1 - 6 can join our Water Works Camp, July 27-31 under the direction of Shalom teacher, Mrs. Tina Holderman. The cost is $125 which includes the $25 registration fee. Shalom students who bring a full-paying non-Shalom friend can attend free paying only the registration fee. SHALOM CHRISTIAN ACADEMY HAS THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS OPEN FOR THE 2015-16 SCHOOL YEAR
High School Math Teacher. This full-time position includes Algebra I & II, Geometry and Accounting. A degree in secondary math education is preferred, but not required.
High School Spanish Teacher. This full-time position includes Spanish I, II, III & IV. It also includes teaching 9th grade Bible.
Tech Ed. This is a part-time position that includes teaching wood-working to 6th and 7th graders and robotics to 8th graders. It also includes a high school building and construction class. The teacher may be asked to teach 10th grade boys’ health.
The Learning Commons is looking for an old world style wood wardrobe that could be used in the Commons for our CS Lewis theme. If you know of anyone who has one they would like to donate please contact Mrs. Kari Davis at: email@example.com Thank you!
QUILT COMMITTEE OPORTUNITY
The Shalom Quilt Committee is looking for moms and/or grandmothers who have an interest in joining our committee. Quilting experience is not required, there are many other ways to help with all this committee accomplishes throughout the year. The quilt sale plays a major role in our annual Dutchfest event and it takes many hands to be successful. A big THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this year's Butcher Shoppe fundraiser a huge success! We sold a total of 273 tubs of cookie dough, 73 bags of coffee, 262 pizza tickets, and 906 sub tickets for a profit of approximately $3,500. Thank you again for contributing to Shalom in this way. Proceeds will be used for improvements in our Learning Commons.

Thanks to everyone who participated in this program! By simply registering their Giant/Martin’s Bonus card and designating our school, Shalom and Growing Tree Preschool received a check for $1,818.39.
