Attendance
- It is Spirit Week! Please review the Spirit Week flyer to know each designated day.
- Attendance: As the holiday season is approaching, we want to encourage families to still send their students to school. Attendance is important!
- Greetings! To kick off the final stretch of 2019, Miner will be engaging in Winter Attendance Wars! Each grade-level (K-5) will be competing for the Title of ‘Best Attendance,’ meaning students are on-time and present every day. Attendance wars will began today, December 2nd and run until December 20th! If any one is interested in passing out stickers to students so they can mark themselves present and one time on their grade-level charts, please see Ms. Offor.
Operations
IMPACT Student Surveys will continue this week. Thank you to those teachers who have been surveyed for your support thus far. The students have been focused and diligent while taking these surveys and I hope that we can keep them on this trajectory. Survey schedule will be sent to this individual teachers who still need to survey.
- To keep accurate data of all employees time it's very important that everyone sign-in and sign-out every day. When signing in and out please write legibly so we can understand the time you're writing on the timesheets. We want to make sure everyone is being paid the correct hours worked. Also, if there is an emeregency, the log provides information with regards to who is in the building.
- Preventing Sexual Harrassment Training: Please ensure you have compelted or are completing the DCPS required trainig. The email was send on 9/30/19 and the training is due by January. THis is required to be updated every 2 years.
- Youth Behavioral Health Training - This training is also due every two years and mus be compelted by January. It can be found here: https://www.supportdcyouth.com
