Commitment to Excellence Award nominations being accepted until February 12th
The Eagle Foundation will host the 23rd Annual Recognition Dinner this spring. The Foundation is seeking nominations for its Commitment to Excellence Award, the highest honor bestowed at the event.
Those eligible: administrators, alumni, coaches, staff, students, teachers and volunteers having a current or past connection with the Cumberland Valley School District (CVSD).
Selection criteria: The award will be given annually to an eligible person who, through demonstrated excellence in actions or achievements, deserves recognition as a role model for the CVSD community.
CV employees will also be selected for recognition. CV Stars are identified through an internal selection process coordinated by building principals. Click here for the nomination form.

Big Buddy applications being accepted until February 17th
If you know of a college student that will be looking for a summer job and a meaningful experience, an Eagle Foundation Big Buddy position may be the right fit. Applications are now being accepted from both male and female college students for the 'Big Buddy' position. The Foundation is looking for energetic students interested in serving as role models. Candidates must have completed a minimum of one year of college. Preference is given to graduates of Cumberland Valley High School but others are welcome to apply. It is a paid position ($10.50/hour) with Big Buddies needing to be available weekdays between June 15 – July 24th from about 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Scholarship applications being accepted until April 1st
Each year the Eagle Foundation awards scholarships to selected seniors based on various criteria including academic achievement, community involvement and service as well as excellence in a particular discipline such as art, music, or vocational/technical fields.
Currently, the Foundation has a total of (22) scholarships to be awarded annually. At this point (10) are awarded through High School Department and Committee selections. The remaining scholarships are awarded using an application and review system. The applications are available in the CV High School Counseling and Career Center as well as on the Foundation's scholarship page.
