A Yale Univ weekend enrichment program at Yale University for 7th and 8th grade students
This spring, Sprout will take place on February 11th, 18th, and 25th. This Sprout program will be open only to middle school students. The cost for all three days is $45, and includes lunch for all three days of the program ($5 per day). Upon registration, students can opt out of lunch if they wish to bring lunch from home. Financial aid is available to students for whom the cost is a problem.
At Sprout, middle school students come together for three days of classes taught by Yale undergraduates. Sprout classes can cover anything, from physics to poetry and from ancient history to popular culture. Starting on January 29th, students can check out the class catalog*, and registration for classes will open at 8:00 pm on Monday, January 30th.
They aim to make Sprout a student-driven experience, and to that end they ask that students independently choose whether to attend the program and that they select their own classes. Students, parents, and educators are all encouraged to read more about Sprout on our website, and to email questions to yalesprout@gmail.com.
