Other Information:
- Math Resources: I have created a symbaloo page for math this quarter that covers place value, rounding, addition, and subtraction. Students are welcome to explore this resource and use whenever they have free time. It can be accessed from my website on the FMES webpage or by clicking this link: http://www.symbaloo.com/mix/plvalue-add-subtract
- Fall Festival is coming up on October 21st! More information on our class project to come!
- Book Fair: The book fair will be open October 21st - 28th. In addition to being open during the fall festival, students will have a specific day to go and shop at the book fair.
- Seesaw: Please continue to use and sign up for the parent portion of Seesaw! http://web.seesaw.me/
- Math Stars: Thank you to our volunteers for Math Stars who have contacted me! If you are interested in volunteering, please email me. You would work with a small group of math students from our class for 20-30 minutes on a few math problems. This was a great success last year and is a fun time for the kids to practice their problem solving strategies!
- Read Your Way to the Big Game! Please return your child's form in order to be eligible for prizes. Students qualify by reading 6 books and returning the form to their homeroom teacher. There will be 2 winners of the contest and they will each receive 4 tickets to the Palmetto Bowl (Clemson vs. USC).
