The American Citizens Services (ACS) Section provides information on claims to U.S. citizenship, renunciation, dual nationality, and loss of citizenship issues.
You claim to citizenship if:
You, your father or your mother were born in the United States; or
You were born outside the United States or one of its outlying possessions to U.S. citizen parent(s) and your U.S. citizen parent(s) meets the physical presence requirements
The Citizenship Clause
The Citizenship Clause is the first sentence of Section 1 in the Fourteenth Amendment Of The Constitution of the United States , which states that "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."
The Solution
The constitution states that if you are born in the United States and/or naturalized, You are a citizen of the United States. So no matter of you are old, young, sick, or healthy, you should have a chance to make a better life for yourself in the United States.
