Message From the Principal
Happy Thanksgiving Titans,
Today during our SGC Request for Flexibility (RFF) Day, our teachers and staff engaged in Professional Development. We worked on ways to support differentiation and to track student growth. This day allowed our teacher teammates to see what each member is working on and to be able to offer support. Thus, allowing teachers to works on cross-curriculum support with a focus on School-wide Progress and Content Mastery (see below).
Our entire staff was able to sit together to enjoy a Thanksgiving feast as a Titan family this afternoon. Thank you to our bookkeeper, Liby Roude, for arranging for a true Southern home-cooked dinner with all the fixings from one of my favorite restaurants, The Beautiful. I am truly grateful for our beautiful teachers and staff, and for the love they provide to each other and our students.
I wish all of our Titan families a beautiful Thanksgiving holiday. Please enjoy this well earned and very deserved time off. Cherish your family's traditions and the all foods that make your Thanksgiving dinner special. Engage with family and friends and make memories filled with laughter and lots of love.
See you back in school on Monday, November 26th!
Sincerely,
Kindra L. Smith, Ed.S

FAQ to Understanding CCRPI - Progress and Mastery Content
Q: WHAT IS CCRPI?
A: CCRPI stands for the " College and Career Ready Performance Index." This is GADOE's (Georgia Department of Education) tool for annually measuring how well each school is performing. In essence, it is a report card of sorts for each school's overall performance. CCRPI is the comprehensive school improvement, accountability, and communication platform for Georgia. It promotes college and career readiness for public school students. The index is based on 100 points.

Q: HOW IS CCRPI CALCULATED?
A: CCRPI is scored by categories. These categories are Content Mastery and Progress.
