Yearbook Deadline Coming Up!
Yearbooks are in the works and can be ordered now for $15. (See more information below on how your photos could be included!) They will arrive in May, just in time to look back on the memories from the 2021-2022 school year. Don’t miss getting yours - order by March 24th!
Order and pay online at https://ybpay.lifetouch.com/
You will need to enter the following information:
Hanawalt Elementary School
Yearbook ID: 14585622
If you would prefer to pay by check, you can write a check to Hanawalt PTA for $15 and deliver it to the school office. Please note in the memo line that it is for yearbook, and include your student and teacher's names.
End of March Used Book Drive
We are hosting a free book fair where each student will be able to select a book to bring home! As a way to increase the variety of books we have to offer, please consider donating gently used elementary age books to our fair. Every student that donates book(s) will receive a coupon for a free 7” kids pizza from Gusto! Donations will be accepted on Monday, March 28th and Tuesday, March 29th from 7:15 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. A volunteer will be available to accept your books in the drop off line.
And don’t forget that the Tower of Books Reading Challenge is on! Check our website or Facebook for more details.
Block Party Volunteers Needed
Next year’s Block Party will be September 16, 2022. We are looking for committee volunteers to help plan this special event. Sign up here.
Parents Night Out is BACK: Registration Now Open
Registration is now open for Parents Night Out on April 21st, at the White Willow event center on Grand Ave. Cost is $25/pp. Sign up today!
Our biggest fundraiser of the year is back! This event is a great opportunity to get together with other Hanawalt parents and leave with some really great stuff. There will be a silent auction featuring some of our awesome area businesses like Gilroy’s, Lua Brewery, and Boesen the Florist.
And we are still looking for donations! Do you have a business that is able to donate a service or experience? Or, maybe your backyard is perfect for a tailgate party, you speak a second language you’re willing to teach others, or maybe you can get your neighbors together to stock a fun, themed gift that someone else might love!
Email jill.delancey@gmail.com if you can help in any way. We hope to see you there!
