Borrowing - answers to frequently asked questions
After our closure, services have been slowly expanding over the past several months. Here is where things currently stand:
- There are no fines, statewide, until November 22.
- A maximum of 20 books can be requested at a time.
- Please remember to be patient when you're waiting for requested books. Delivery times are considerably slower than pre-covid.
- We quarantine books for 24 hours after they are returned. During that time, they will still appear to be on your card, but when the books are checked in, we tell the system the date that they were returned.
Computer Use
Computers are available but use is limited. We have 3 stations available, and there is a 30 minute limit per patron. Extensions can be given by staff.
Curbside Pickup
We are still offering curbside pickup of library materials. You can schedule a pickup over the phone, and we will put your order in a brown paper bag in the lobby. You can pick up any time we're open.
No Book Donations
We usually accept donations of used books, but we cannot at this time.
