The way we live our lives and our willingness to care for those in need brings Christ to the World.
Throughout Winter Break St Pius X will offer a variety of Service Opportunities so young people can explore their gifts and talents to help build the kingdom of God but serving those in need. There are a wide variety of events, times, and locations so that teens can try out different ways of helping.
Registration links are below. Teens can come to one, two or even five all events! Friends welcome if space allows. Parents welcome as well.

Teens are invited to bring store-bought snack items to put into bags that family members, staying at Ronald McDonald House can bring to the hospital for long days & even longer nights.

4:00 - 6:30 pm at Ronald McDonald House, (333 Westmoreland Drive, Rochester, NY 14620) Help prepare, serve & clean up dinner for residents (please note we will NOT be eating there). Participation is limited to five teens. THIS EVENT IS FULL. PLEASE CHOOSE ANOTHER EVENT.

Thursday, February 20, 10 AM–1 PM at SPX School Youth Room, Learn to Pray with Fr Francis Pompei!
Fr Pompei ran our Parish Mission last fall and now he's coming back to work with our teens! Learn How to Really Help your Friends—change your prayer life with a special training event with Fr Francis Pompei —lunch included (see video link below). Participation is limited to twelve teens.

Friday, February 21, 2-6 pm Special Olympics (1111 Jefferson Rd, Rochester, NY 14623) https://www.specialolympics-ny.org/event/winter-games/
SPX Teens will welcome Athletes as they arrive in Rochester at the the Doubletree Hotel. Please come ready to be enthusiastic and bring posters if possible (we'll have some materials there). Posters should have encouraging messages for the Special Olympics Athletes. No limits on participation.
