Important Calendar Information!
This year, March 17th’s Presidential Primary Election Day will replace Pulaski Day as a school holiday. Students will attend school on Pulaski Day, Monday, March 2nd. There is NO SCHOOL on TUESDAY, MARCH 17TH. This change was made by the Board of Education as a precautionary student safety measure because several of our schools are used as public polling places.

5Essentials Survey
If you have not done so already, please be sure to take the Illinois 5Essentials Parent Survey at https://survey.5-essentials.org/Illinois/
School and District leaders use their 5Essentials data to better inform their school improvement plans and help identify key strengths and areas for growth. Your identity and survey responses will be kept completely confidential and will never be connected to you or your child. We must get a 20% parent response rate for our results to be reported.

A Few Housekeeping Notes
- Student should arrive at school no earlier than 7:45 a.m. Our school day begins promptly at 7:55 a.m. If you are dropping off after 7:55 a.m., please walk your child into the building and sign them in. We will have adult supervision outside between 7:45 and 7:55.
- Please remember how important good attendance is for your student’s academic well-being. If your child is going to be absent, please report this to the school office.
- Dress for the weather. Students will be going out for recess unless the temperature is below 25 degrees, with the wind chill.
