Absenteeism and Tardiness
Unexcused scholar absences and tardies negatively impact the overall score GIA receives from the state.
If your scholar has an excused absence, please provide a written/typed explanation for your scholar's absence to Ms. Ebonie Fagin in the main office. You may also email a copy of the letter to your scholar's homeroom teacher. Please do not give the note directly to your scholar to turn in.
