Park Hall Weekly Updates
February 22, 2021
Principal's Notes for 2/22/2021
Park Hall Families,
Our first two days back were very successful and full of smiles behind masks. We are asking our families to please remember and continue to talk with your children about the following:
- Masks must be worn all day (except when eating)
- We are spacing our students 6 feet apart.
- Students must bring their SMCPS issued and fully charged IPads or Laptops to and from school
- Students should bring their own water bottles from home.
- Please verify with your child's teacher how your child will be going home (bus number or parent pick-up)
- Students will be going outside for recess when possible. Please send students with coats (with their name written inside).
- Students will have the option to take meals home on the days they attend school. Please let your child's teacher know if you do not want these meals sent home. Meals will still be available for pick-up on Fridays.
For more information on safety protocols, COVID-19, contact tracing, and procedures, see the SMCPS Health and Safety page.
Entry and Dismissal Reminders:
- Parent drop-off runs from 8:30-8:45 each morning.
- Parent pick-up runs from 3:20-3:30 each afternoon.
- During parent pick-up and drop-off, parents/adults should remain in cars and pull up as far as possible so we can load as many students as possible. For safety reasons, we are asking that cars do not pass each other when loading and unloading. Finally, we prefer to load students on the passenger side of the vehicle from the sidewalk. Thank you for ensuring all our students are safe and that parent pick-up and drop-off is quick and efficient.
- Please remember that all pre-k, and kindergarten students must have an adult waiting at the bus stop in order to be let off the bus each day. Be early as our dismissal times will vary for the next few weeks.
