Maintenance worked over break installing new ballasts in many areas. If your room or the hall feels a little dusty, please forgive the crew. They promised to clean up, but there's some dust left.

One piece of student accountability/growth we will look at this year is data notebooks. Please begin to think about how you have students track their data and ways you can share your ideas with others.

Thinking Ahead:
  • Report Cards go Home on January 27th
  • Whole Day Grade Level Planning Days will begin on January 29 and continue into February. Check the calendar to see when your grade level will meet.

PES Updates

1. Mrs. Rone will be subbing in Mrs. Scriven's class this week. If you need assistance with a student, please email or text me or Miss Chicchi. Please do not text Mrs. Rone this week. She will not be able to support time-outs. Miss Chicchi and I will provide Classwork coverage for you during planning meetings if you do not have a teacher assistant.

2. Miss Chicchi and I will need to finish up Round II Observations this week. Thanks for your understanding!

3. We have media interviews scheduled on Wednesday with the first one starting at 3:30. If you would like to be on the team, please send me an email. At this time Mrs. Mize and hopefully Mrs O'Bryan will be our consistent media subs. We will let you know more as time goes on! Please let me know if you have questions.

4. Leadership Team Meeting/Title I Meeting - Tuesday, January 12. Leadership Team members and Title I team members, please plan to attend.

5. Fourth Grade Math Night is scheduled January 12th. Please make sure your grade level has scheduled at least one math night before April.

Thanks to all of you who made our Christmas/Retirement Celebration such a fun time! I appreciate each of you and what you give to our kids and to our PES Family!
