DATA Weekly Newsletter

Newsletter for the Week of April 24, 2023

What's Happening at DATA

We had a successful first week of state testing. Students stepped up and adjusted to schedule changes and really demonstrated the DATA Core Values. More state testing to come and then in May we begin AP testing. Take a look below at all of the great things that students have been doing over the past several weeks. There's a lot on the horizon so much share you check out the "Important Dates" section at the bottom.

Good luck to all of the students competing at UTSA on Saturday for UIL Regionals!

Have a great week!

Until next time,

Mrs. Szabo

Service Learning Hours due April 28th

This is the number one asked question around DATA this time of year. Service learning (community service) is simply a service to others for which you are not compensated. At the beginning of the school year, all students were provided a student planner. Students need to make sure to upload their hours into Skyward. Once updated in Skyward, you will need to print the hours and turn them in to Ms. Tiller in D26.

Annual Science Fair hosted by SNHS

Thank you for supporting the Annual TR Science Fair hosted by the Science National Honor Society.

The Science Fair would not have been successful if it weren't for the cooperation of the 1st floor Biology teachers for allowing us to use their classrooms, the countless hours of volunteer work from our SNHS members, DATA alumni judges, Teacher volunteer judges, and community judges.
