HHS JUMP START: College & Career Opportunities

Whether our Tigers are headed towards a 4-year college, a 2-year college, a Vocational Trade School or the workforce, we have opportunities for ALL STUDENTS. Our mission is to, "prepare all students to be successful citizens in college, career, and life." To that end we have partnerships with OTC both technical programming and academic/college programming, Gibson Technical Center, GO-CAPS through Springfield Public Schools, or Career Technical Education Programming through our own facility, and more. Over the next few weeks we will be providing information to our Sophomores and Juniors regarding these opportunities and want to invite you to explore these possibilities with your student as well.

To see the the program opportunities please access the below information sheets. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Hollister High School Counseling and Career Center.

HHS ATTENDANCE

Please continue to help support your student to make positive decisions about school attendance. To help ensure we continue moving in the right direction: schedule routine appointments after school hours, if this is not possible, please make sure your student comes back to school - every minute counts. Try to avoid calling in and releasing your student from school early. Remember - students' whose attendance falls below 90% may be subject to varying attendance interventions. Please refer to the student handbook pp. 36-38 for more information. Thank you for your continued support as we strive to meet our goal of 90% of our students achieving 90% or higher attendance. GO TIGERS!!!
