Smith Middle School

Mission: The purpose of Smith Middle School is to ensure learning for all members of our school community.

Vision: Smith will be a safe environment where diversity is embraced, and the needs of the whole child are met through innovation and collaboration. With the resources available, the Smith community will strive to provide an engaging, challenging academic experience, while promoting a balance between emotional, academic, and social needs, contributing to the success of all students.

A NOTE FROM YOUR PRINCIPAL:

Hi Smith Families,

Our fall sports season kicked off this week with girls basketball games on Tuesday and Thursday and a football game and sideline cheer on Wednesday. It was great to see so many families, students, and staff out to cheer on our Knights!

We were also able to hold our first spirit week of the year and our first pep assembly since 2019! I am disappointed to say that the 8th graders easily defeated the staff team this year in basketball, but everyone had a great time! Thank you to Mrs. Brennan, Mr. Koneval, and our Student Council for organizing the pep assembly and the week’s events.
