It's Time to Start Talking About Enrollment!

Can you believe that we are approaching the third trimester already? Spring is just around the corner, and so is the Enrollment period for the 2019-2020 academic year. I wanted to share with you all some exciting information and instructions as we move forward with the remainder of the year:

We are in the final stages of configuring Renweb/FACTS for online enrollment. Moving forward, enrollment contracts, tuition payment plans, even medical forms and permission slips, will be submitted online. We will also manage all billing related matters such as enrollment fees, lunch and aftercare billing etc online. (YAY!) We hope you are as excited about this advancement as we are. This will help to streamline the enrollment process and eliminate that giant packet of paperwork that must be completed every year!!! We will notify everyone as soon as the portal is available for enrollment.

GET STARTED NOW: In the meantime, the application process for financial aid is ready to begin. Financial aid is available to qualifying families with students in grades K - 12! Our application letter and requirements will be coming home in a packet on Monday.

If you have not already begun the application process for Grant and Aid, please head on over to the site and get started ASAP. To apply for financial aid, visit https://online.factsmgt.com/signin/3JB80. Financial aid is awarded on a first come, first served basis so it is imperative that you submit your application in a timely manner.

If you have any questions about the enrollment process, I encourage you to call me or stop by the office any time.

A Huge Thank You to Lizi Rosenberg and the Brattleboro Coop!!!

Students in Grades K thru 3 had a very special visitor this week. Lizi Rosenberg, the Education and Outreach Coordinator for the Brattleboro Coop, graciously came to Saint Michael School this week to spend time in our classrooms, teaching the children about the importance of "Eating the Rainbow". After learning about how different foods benefit our bodies in unique ways, the children were encouraged to interact with colorful foods using their five senses. It was such fun to observe the expressions on their faces as they listened to Lizi speak, and afterwards as they tried some unfamiliar foods like dried figs and plantains.

We are so grateful to the Brattleboro Coop for their community outreach programs. SMS families are encouraged to stop by the Coop to see what they have to offer. If interested in learning more about the Coop's extensive education program, please check out this link.

Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Ray Warren for an introduction to Social Dancing

We would also like to thank Mr. and Mrs. Warren for coming in this week for a dance demonstration for our high school students. They spent the afternoon demonstrating the various forms of social dancing and have agreed to come back in the weeks ahead to teach our students. The first lesson will be tomorrow evening at our school dance. From 6-7pm, all guests will receive a complimentary lesson in ballroom, swing and line dancing to name a few. Then they will be encouraged to have some fun and put their new dance steps into action with a playlist of contemporary music.

There is still time this weekend to register your daughter if you haven't done so already.
