CHORALE ENSEMBLE FUNDRAISER – TUESDAY, MARCH 24TH
We had a great turnout at Chipotle last year and it would be wonderful if we could fill the restaurant again with the Shalom family and friends! We will receive 50% of the sales (anyone who is there for our group) sold between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm. A link to the flyer is at the end of this newsletter, and flyers are also available in the main office. In order for us to get credit for the sales, be sure to give the cashier a flyer with each payment, in either paper or electronic form, or simply tell them that you are supporting the Shalom Chorale. DUTCHFEST NEWS (May 1st & 2nd)
Food Items: We are in need of specialty baked items--homemade breads and rolls, homemade cinnamon rolls, apple dumplings, homemade candy, etc., to sell at our baked goods stand. In keeping with our “Dutch style foods” theme, we want to focus on “made from scratch” items rather than items from packaged mixes. Please contact Tabby Schwartz, 717-375-0106, if you have items that you can bake and donate, or if you would like to help in the foods area during Dutchfest.
We are looking for items for our DUTCHFEST AUCTION. Do you own a business or are you connected to a business that may make a donation to the general auction? Or do you have an item that you could personally donate to the auction? Donations can include goods, services, vacation destinations, sporting tickets, gift certificates, gift baskets, homemade items, handcrafted items and more! If you have an item to donate or would like more information on requesting an item from a business please contact Patti Bricker, email@example.com, or Wayne Myers, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Longaberger Items: Our Longaberger auction will take place Friday evening of Dutchfest, May 3rd, at 7:00 PM in the library. We are currently collecting baskets for this auction. We are also accepting Boyds Bear items as well as Thirty-one and Vera Bradley items. If you have an item to donate, please contact Sharon Yoder at 717-375-9934, Lisa Byers at 717-261-1436, or the school office.
SCA-5K and Fun Walk: Join us for our annual event Saturday, May 2nd, at 8:30 AM. Click on the link at the end of this newsletter to download a registration form. The form is also available on our website, www.shalomca.com, in the forms and documents section and under the 5K link our site map at the bottom of the website. Register by April 22nd, and receive a $5 discount and free t-shirt. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners in each age group. 5K Business sponsors needed: We have $300 and $400 advertising opportunities available. Call or email Mr. Jeryl Hoover in the business office, 375-2223, email@example.com, by April 15th.
