Monday Memo
5.2.16
From the Principal
Staffing
We are currently working on submitting all Request-to -Hire transactions for NCC teachers. I have personally emailed you all to notify each of you about your teaching assignment for next year. I apologize to Pre-K who got quite a jolt that said they were teaching Kindergarten! I had an error revising my forms. It's been resolved.
We have been informed that we will not be receiving any administrative transfer teachers into our building. We still have some hiring and reassigning to do with 3rd, 4th PE & Pre-K. We'll keep you updated on this as we are able.
Student Enrollment
As of April 25, the Board of Education and District Leadership has approved the moving of 6th Grade to Roosevelt Middle School. Parent notification will begin this week. Followed by Parent Information Night, PreEnrollment and a student visit within the next few weeks. Due to this change, there will be a few teachers/programs moving around the building into the spaces that are vacated by 6th grade.
LoTi Visit
Dr. Chris. Moersch will be in our building on Friday, May 6th 2016. He is eager to visit classrooms and see the great things going on in classrooms. These walkthroughs will be random according to the time he arrives at school. We will be using our HEAT Observation Tool as we do the walkthrough's. IF you have a lesson that you are wanting to try and would really like his feedback, let m know, I'd we'll do the best we can to prioritize the visit.
