August 12, 2022
During the first six weeks as the principal at St. Patrick, I have been spending time meeting with staff to gain a better understanding of everything that goes on at St. Patrick Catholic School. During these meetings I have found that our staff is extremely proud of our students and school. Everyone is committed to providing the highest quality education in a faith-based environment.
I have learned that our school is fortunate to have many structures in place to help us work toward reaching our vision of providing a cutting-edge curriculum with an emphasis on Catholic values. In addition to teams that focus on our academic program, each member of our teaching staff is part of an Action Team that focuses on Leader In Me, Professional Development, School Improvement, or Spirituality/Schoolwide Morale. The Leader In Me team focuses on the implementation of Leader In Me within our classrooms and school. The Professional Development team works with the other Action Teams to develop a plan for Wednesday afternoon professional development. The School Improvement team leads our efforts on a variety of initiatives every year. Among other things, our Spirituality team selects the bible verse for the year and plans activities for Advent, Lent, and the beginning and end of the year.
With the enthusiasm I have experienced among staff and the families I have met, I am proud to be part the St. Patrick Catholic School community, and I look forward to the start of the school year.

If you need more tickets, they're available in the parish office now and will be in the school office when it opens later this month.

Don’t forget to save and turn in your Hy-Vee receipts. We receive a percentage back and it adds up! You can ask your neighbors, coworkers, friends, and family in the area to save them too!
