Student Survey Results
We are finding more success with DL this fall than last spring. Some statistics from the fall survey (92 students completed representing all 4 of our programs):
- 95.7% of students Agree or Strongly Agree that they understand their Google Classrooms and Teacher Expectations
- 95.6% of students reported that they can get support they need to complete their school work either from school staff or adults at home or within the community
- 78.3% of students rated their Mental Health status a 3, 4, or 5. (1 = Not great; 5 = Excellent). In their narrative response, many students reported that their mental health stress was not related to school, but issues at home, work, or the community and that school is helpful to their mental wellness.
- 63% of students have participated in 1:1 conferences with teachers.
- 61% of students have participated in class or small group discussions.
- 42% of students have participated in experiential learning
- 35% of students have engaged with a community or guest speaker
