Dear SVDP Community,
Don't be confused --- our Thursday newsletter is arriving on Wednesday! We wanted to make sure you had all the info needed for a strong start of the school year. Please keep reading!
School starts tomorrow, and we are excited to see parents and students back on campus. Both Thursday and Friday are early release days - pickup will be 12:45 for K - 2 and 12:55 for 3 - 8.
Morning assembly will be held in the courtyard until further notice. We are putting the finishing touches on the gym, and we want it to be perfect for your first visit.
If you plan to attend morning assembly and/or the Parent Guild coffee, please find street parking. Our staff lot (corner of Green and Pierce) will be full and should not be utilized by parents / volunteers.
Get a good night's sleep, eat a hearty breakfast, and arrive with a positive outlook for the year.
- Extended care will be open.
- de Paul Youth Club (3 - 8) will notify families when the gym will open for after school activities. The gym will NOT be open on Tuesday.
- Homework Hub will be hosted on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays beginning August 23rd. Homework Hub is open to all 3rd - 8th graders from 3:00 - 4:00.
SchoolSpeak Emails
We are aware that some of you are not receiving emails from SchoolSpeak. Every user should be sure to add "
admin@schoolspeak.com AND
schoolspeak@svdpsf.com to their address books. For GMAIL users, the addresses should be added as VIP. If you are reading this, you must be getting SchoolSpeak emails, and we ask that you share the above information with friends and others in your classes.
COVID Testing
We recommend that every student and parent (if you are attending the coffee - see below) test before arriving at school tomorrow. Please submit any positive results to
administration@svdpsf.com.
JOIN PARENT GUILD FOR COFFEE
The Parent Guild is hosting a Back to School Coffee tomorrow morning after the morning bell. Please join them in the Parish Hall for coffee, greetings, and more SVDP information.
Use the Steiner Street entrance.
