CD Bulletin

Dear Families,
On Thursday, we had our first “Cougar Assembly” in the gym to celebrate and acknowledge all of the positive behaviors we have been noticing from our students and staff. For the last two years, these monthly assemblies have been virtual. While I’m proud of our creativity and ability to maintain a strong culture, it sure feels good to be together in one place again.
You might hear your child talk about “Cougar Award Winners”. At Country Dale, we believe it’s important to highlight students and classrooms for going above and beyond. Examples of this might be a second-grade class who worked hard to complete a challenging task in music or another grade level who worked together to achieve a common goal in phy ed. These types of celebrations align strongly with our social and emotional curriculum as well as our district goals focused on increasing student engagement.
Lastly, please keep in mind that we have a few fun things planned for the month of October. The first thing on the docket will be the Cougar Chase which is going to be on Friday, October 7th during the school day. Another family event will be our Trunk or Treat which will be in the evening on Thursday, October 7th.
Have a great week!
Shaunna LaPlant- Country Dale Principal
