What are quiz corrections?
Corrections can only be made for quizzes - not for tests!
Quiz corrections are one of the best ways to get credit back, increase your grade, and learn from your mistakes.
How much can I get back for quiz corrections?
If you submit corrections for a quiz, you can raise your grade up to 70% on a quiz. Whether you got 5% or 65% on a quiz, the maximum grade you could get from quiz corrections would be 70%.
HOW TO COMPLETE CORRECTIONS FOR MATH
- You can either write your math quiz corrections on your own piece of paper, or print out and fill in the worksheet below. Remember to email your completed quiz corrections to your math teacher.
HOW TO COMPLETE CORRECTIONS FOR SPELLING
- For spelling quizzes, first, find every word you did not spell correctly.
- Next, handwrite each word 5 times on a piece of paper. Corrections WILL NOT be accepted if typed on a computer! If you misspelled 5 words on your spelling quiz, you would write each word 5 times, so you would have a total of 25 words written on one piece of paper.
- Then, take a picture of your handwritten words on the piece of paper
- Include your heading on your paper. Your title on your paper will have the subject name, unit number, and assignment number.
- Include your name (students name, not parents name), support level, class, and assignment in the subject line of the email. Finally, send a picture of your paper to the teacher for the class you did corrections for.
You can either write your spelling quiz corrections on your own piece of paper, or print out and fill in the worksheet below. Once you have finished your quiz corrections, you will email them to your English teacher.
Example of Spelling Quiz Corrections
HOW TO COMPLETE CORRECTIONS FOR HISTORY, SCIENCE, BIBLE, & ENGLISH (not including spelling)
For history, science, Bible and English, you will need to include 3 different things in order to get credit back. (1) The right answer, (2) Exact quote from your lesson in Ignitia, (3) Unit and Lesson number and name.
- Find the questions you received partial credit or zero credit on.
- Find the correct answer to the question.
- Go back into your lessons and find where in the lesson it teaches what the right answer is.
- You will quote Ignitia where it teaches what the right answer is. Do not quote more than 2 sentences from Ignitia. Quoting Ignitia means you will copy exactly what Ignitia says.
- Next, you will list the unit, lesson number, and name of the lesson where you quoted Ignitia. Observe the example below to see what this should look like.
