Thank you for an amazing year!!
Mission Accomplished!
Each year we marvel at your growth and progress in becoming young adults. We treasure our time with you and are blessed to have you with us for four years. For some, you are leaving us for the next step...post-secondary learning in colleges, universities, technical schools, entrepreneurial ventures, travel and more. Others will return to school next year, ready to be reunited with their friends and facilitators as they continue their journey toward graduation. What I know for sure is that this experience of remote learning has helped us all realize how much we value and appreciate our learning community. The "aha" moment in learning is a gift we experience when we are with you. The attentiveness and support of facilitators make a tremendous impact on how you learn and make connections. The team of caring and trusted adults that surround you each day leaves you with lasting memories. We all matter in this Titan family ~ we all have value, we all contribute, we all belong. Thank you for being courageous, for asking questions, for getting out of your comfort zone, for recognizing that something is hard to do and choosing to do it anyway. You inspire us!
Seniors, don't be strangers. Walk outdoors tonight and watch the sun set on your final day of your senior year. Take a selfie and send it our way. We look forward to learning of your many successes and surprise visits back to Academy.
3rd Years, prepare to lead and to leave your mark next year as a Titan senior. The college application process is just around the corner, and we will be right there with you to help you along the way. Stay in touch and check in on each other over the summer, and don't forget to vote on your senior shirts!
2nd Years, you've overcome many challenges this year. We can't wait to have you back on campus and ready to dive into great projects together. Ms. Haag says that she will be back as a sub next year and will be giving first priority to your facilitators, hoping to reconnect and check on your progress.
1st Years, you are one of the kindest and most caring groups of young people we have welcomed to our school. Be ready to lead and to show incoming 1st years the way. They will need you and your inclusive spirit so that they feel that same sense of belonging.
If you are choosing to do an internship or engaging in other summer experiences, be sure to send us a picture! Have a safe and relaxing summer!
Sincerely,
Lynn Ojeda
