Thank you for your support
We appreciate you sending your child to Baskin Elementary. At Baskin, we have the BEST students, teachers, and staff. Every single day of school is important and we need your child here at school to learn and grow. Students can be dropped off at 7:30 in the gym if they are a Kinder- 5th grade student or in the Pre K building if they are a Pre K student.
Students start breakfast at 7:50, school begins at 8:00, and the tardy bell rings at 8:05.
Students have social emotional learning time at the beginning of each school day, this is called Beagle Bonding Time.
At 8:15, we begin schoolwide intervention. This is a time where teachers can work with students in small groups. We have students who are missing this time daily because they are extremely tardy. Please make sure your child is here by 8:00 am.
Thank you for being our partners in ensuring your child's social, emotional, and academic success. At Baskin...We Believe, Achieve, and Succeed!
Friendly Reminders: A Message from our Baskin Staff
- Please make sure to send your child with a water bottle daily. We have refill stations throughout campus.
- Students must leave Pokemon cards at home, these are a distraction to learning and will be picked up and returned to the parent. Cellphones are also a distraction to learning, cellphones must be kept in your child's backpack.
- All staff members are assisting with Schoolwide Intervention, please make sure your child is here on time daily.
- Our 1st 9 weeks is coming to an end. Next week on Tuesday and Wednesday, we will have district CBA testing for Kinder- 5th grade in Reading and Math. 5th Grade will also take a Science test on Thursday. Please make sure your child gets a good night's rest.
