Empathy in Action

After our teachers read the book, Mindset for Learning, we discovered the importance of the five stances (optimism, resiliency, persistence, flexibility, and empathy) and how helpful each could be in our lives at Salford Hills. We found the best way to learn about empathy was to live it, so in addition to practicing in school, we practiced in the community through the Salford Hills Empathy in Action Program.
